"i can basically only boast about the pro models cause thats the only board i ride. little trivia fact...mikenick has never in his life ridden any skiboard product manufactured by another company besides line. so basically i'll give the low down on the most cdommonely asked questions concerning the mn pro model. why is it longer...cause the longer it is the faster you go. skiboards can be no longer than 99.9 cms. so just to be different we did a 98. what's one cm anyway. extra length gives you more speed andstability for better landing on big kickers. the higher tip and tail...better for powder riding forward or fakie, and they allow you to plow through the sludge int the flat of the pipe. it's kinda like having a snow plow on you feet. what's up with the thinner waist...improved quickness from edge to edge. what's the deal with the even flex pattern... i ride fakie as much if not more than i ride forwards so why not have a board whose tail and tip are the same in terms of flex patterns. it's all about symetry. tip, tail...who cares which is facing forward. new sidecut radius...improved arch of turns. your work the ski and the sharpenss of a turn, the ski doesn't work you. what's the deal with the tree on the top sheet... it's rad that's why. i designed it and i like it. but bot as much as next years pro model. look closely at my feet in the x games and get a glimpse of next years graphics." -Mike Nick, The worldest best pro rider |

well only one thing comes to mind when I think of the 00 mike nick pro model, quality. Well these are just great all around boards, they are very manuverable in all types of snow be it fluffy powder, or wet mush, they can turn on a dime. And all of everyone's favourite things are a breeze, riding fakie and and tricks I mean. Well I still have to work on my tricks but hey this isn't a review of me, it's a review of the boards. One thing is for sure about these boards, the more they are around the better they get, the longer length of this seasons model makes the boards more stable an the the symetrical parabolic shape makes them just that much better. Well in short 00 mike nick pro's are the best boards I have ever ridden in my life, if you are a beginer or a pro like mister nick, make sure you are caught in high quality boards like these. |

Salomon's are the worst skiboards i have ever ridden. it's like riding a pair of rulers. There so flimsy, whenever u ride em' they shake like mad, and u think your gonna catch an edge and eat some snow. u can't ride fakie as good as the mikenick's and u can't stomp landings as easy.....l8r -arron (hippie2G@hotmail.com) |

like EVERYONE says about salomon skiblade well they suck REALY bad. they
are to narrow if you try to ride in pow it kills you ankles hardcore. i
just bought a pair of 00-01 mike nick's and i can hardly wait to try them
out. dont buy salomon
